- The Technical Museum’s annual Ironsmith Festival focuses on the skills and traditions of craftsmen and artisans as well as traditional Norwegian-Icelandic food and popular music from the 1800’s to modern times. Set in original early 1900’s surroundings, presentations, exhibitions, workshops and tasty (even exotic) everyday food are accompanied by musical performances and public dancing on the wharf. - Man in the moon – children’s culture day. Art workshop for children, free entry.
- Town festival, dance, games, barbecue and fun for the whole family. Neighbors and friends meet in three various arias of town. Barbecue and rehearsal for upcoming competition between different town quarters. A bonfire gathering in the center of the town.
- Autumn feast “Haustroði”, handcrafts- and flea markets, concerts, cinema, dance, guided town and nature tour, food, clothes, books and harvest products for sale.
